Monte Argentario

The renowned backdrops of the Argentario boast spectacular colored walls, covered with large colonies of yellow and red gorgonians at a very few meters deep. Thanks to the nutrient-rich waters and the particular conformation of the seabed, red coral is present along the entire coast starting from 18 metres, a rarity in many other areas of the Mediterranean!

Not to be missed: the Corallo rock, the Argentarola rock and the legendary Secca di Mezzo Canale.
