The goal of the course is to train divers on the benefits, risks and correct procedures and to develop the basic skills of CCR diving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MORE INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How it is conducted<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Rebreather Diver Level 1 course is divided into theoretical lessons, preparation and maintenance of the rebreather, dry exercises, confined water diving, 8 open water training dives and the last 2 will be experience dives.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Gases used: air, nitrox and helitrox<\/li>\n<li>Water exercises could be recorded to improve learning<\/li>\n<li>Decompression diving and obstructed environments (caves or wrecks) are excluded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How long does it last<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The course normally lasts 5 days (we suggest to keep an extra day available).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Qualifications of students\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once students have successfully completed the I\u00b0 level rebreather course, they can participate in underwater activities using a CCR up to a maximum of 30 m using air as diluent (Air diluent) or 45 mt if they are qualified to use the trimix and at the discretion of the instructor (Module 1).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>21 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Nitrox (or trimix) licence<\/li>\n<li>minimum 125 dives<\/li>\n<li>swim at least 400 meters in 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>rescue for an oxygen toxic diver<\/li>\n<li>know how to use a decompression cylinder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Equipment required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Electronic closed circuit rebreather.<\/li>\n<li>1 CCR underwater computer and\/or depth timer and depth gauge.<\/li>\n<li>Mask, fins, a cutting device, Wet notes.<\/li>\n<li>Spool and surface signal balloon (DSMB)<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate suit<\/li>\n<li>Bail-out Tank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> a personal rebreather is recommended but at Argentario Divers you will find all the equipment you need for your course.
