UTD Recreational 2 course is designed to cultivate and integrate some critical skills, while consolidating the essential skills you already had, all necessary to train competent divers who can, safely, dive deeper. MORE INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n What you\u2019ll learn<\/strong><\/p>\n During your UTD Recreational 2 class (or Advanced Open Water Diver class) you will be taken through a series of dives that build upon the basics you learned during your open water training. But now we can focus even more on the more goal-oriented dives, like a deeper dive into navigation and diving with a light for communication, and even the optional night dive. Learn how to use an SMB. You will also be introduced to the first light form of critical skills training where your instructor gives you surprise failures during the dive. You will also learn how to dive with Nitrox and you will push your depth limit to 100ft or 30m. Our aim is really to advance your open-water skills and give you even more confidence to take on more challenging dives.<\/p>\n Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n The course includes at least 32 hours of theory and practice in the water, spread over at least 4 days.<\/p>\n When you buy a UTD course, you pay for training not for a \u201cplastic reward for participation\u201d. We will give you the ability to look at your strengths and weaknesses, and during the class, we can expand on your strengths and improve on your weaknesses. Some students might need more coaching or just more time to master certain aspects of the course. You can always do so by seeking out more training outside the curriculum and the time constraints of the standard course layout.<\/p>\n How it\u2019s done<\/strong><\/p>\n The UTD Recreational 2\u00a0 course is divided into two sections and some modules. The first section is about personal critical skills. The second section is divided into four modules:<\/p>\n Nitrox (use of enriched air mixes), Deep (extension up to 30 meters depth), Navigation (navigation with and without compass) and Night (night diving).<\/p>\n In-water exercises<\/strong><\/p>\n The exercises in the water are videotaped so that the students can visually check their behavior and learn to self-evaluate. Dives with decompression and in obstructed environments (caves or wrecks) are excluded.<\/p>\n Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n Required configuration:<\/strong><\/p>\n Note:<\/strong> at Argentario Divers you will find all the equipment you will need for the course.
